Responsible for the planning and instruction of Reading 415, a senior level reading education class. Syllabus for this course included university students attending four hours per week of university coursework followed by one on one tutorial sessions where the student administers a reading test, constructed lesson plans, and instructed at-risk public school students for one hour four times a week under faculty supervision.

Responsible for the instruction of Reading 415, the maintenance of the computer lab, as well as group and individual tutoring.

Liaison for the America Reads Challenge Program
Responsible for developing a program based on federal funding to allow rural youth the opportunity to have tutorials in core subjects from community members. America Reads was a program that was to be implemented for the first time requiring the development of a policy and procedure handbook that consisted of fundamental guidelines. This program required training, tutors, organization of meetings, time scheduling between tutors and different educational institutions, as well as traveling to Department of Education round table discussions with educators' nationwide.
